Every month, I publish a report of the business & investment income I received during the previous month. I publish these reports to show you what you can expect with an online business & unconventional investments, and I also publish them to keep the motivation to work hard & to grow this number month after month.
In every report, you will find out the details about all the business income I received during the month, all the business expenses, and also all the income I received from investments during the month.
This month I mainly focused on raising up the budget for my Facebook ads, while carefully monitoring that they deliver the expected results. I am mainly focused on lead generation at the moment, and I can say that the results are great. For my website Open Home Automation for example, I am now able to generate email leads for just 30 cts per lead, which is way below the average cost per lead on Facebook. I am now building and tweaking the other parts of my sales funnels, and when I reach an overall positive return on investment it will be time for me to scale up my ads spend and grow my business this way. By the way, if you want to know how to do the same for your own online business, I invite you to join my free online course about building a lead generation funnels that uses Facebook Ads.
I also spent time working on my two SaaS apps, aREST and SiteEngine. For aREST, I mainly focused on the marketing side, and completely redesign the funnel that people use to signup to the app, mainly with a redesigned & more clear pricing page.
I also added more features into SiteEngine, which is my SaaS app that is powering all my websites, by adding some useful features like One-Click Upsell, which will definitely be useful for my clients but also to grow the revenues of my own websites.
On the investing side, I continued to sell some of the low-yielding dividend stocks that were basically slowing down in dividend growth. That's why you will see a lower income this month on the dividend side. However, I already reinvested most of the money in Peer-to-Peer lending :)
Speaking about Peer-to-Peer lending platforms, I continued to diversify my portfolio by investing on platforms like Viainvest and PeerBerry, which I will also review soon on my website. My investments on Grupeer (which I reviewed here) are also performing well, as well as my investments on Fast Invest that I just recently reviewed.
