Every quarter I publish a report of what I achieved during that period, regarding my business, investments, and health. I review every major goal that I set for myself during the past year, and discuss about what happened to that goal to see if I am on track to achieve it.

I am writing these reviews to keep myself accountable and to really make a deep review of the past year. I also hope that these reviews can be inspirational for you and help you review of your own goals! Or you can also simply read this review to laugh at all my epic failures 🙂

Goal #1: 8000 Euros/month of Business income

Not on track. My main goal for 2016 is concerning the income coming solely from my online business, which is coming from sales of eBooks and other digital products. To be on track with my yearly goal, I should have reached an income of 5000 Euros per month, whereas I only reached 3300 Euros for the best month of this first quarter.

Therefore, I really need to push my efforts on the business side during the next quarter to reach my goals. This will include releasing new digital products, revving up the marketing in my business, and also looking for consulting gigs that can be achieved my members of my team under my supervision.

Goal #2: 3000 Euros/month of Investment Income

On track. For the income coming from investments, I count income coming from dividend paying stocks, real estate, Peer-to-Peer lending, and also my from my investments in profitable websites. My goal for 2016 is to reach 3000 Euros per month of income coming solely from investments, and for this first quarter I should have reached 1500 Euros per month of investment income.

Thanks to a massive re-investment after the sale of an appartment unit owned, I managed to already reached 2511 Euros of monthly investment income, so I am on a very good way to reach my yearly goal here!

Goal #3: Build a Solid Team of at Least 5 Persons

On track. As my business is growing, I found myself in a strong need for a team in the middle of last year (where I was still mostly doing everything myself). I first recruited a virtual assistant to help me in basic tasks, but it was clearly not enough, and one of my goal for 2016 was to build a solid team of 5 people to help me out.

I now have 4 people in my team, including a virtual assistant, a technical content writer, a podcast editor, and a video editor. I still need to recruit somebody to help me out for general content production, but overall I am on track to reach this goal.

Goal #4: Travel to at Least 4 Conferences to Meet Like-minded People

Not on track. As an online entrepreneur, I tend to rely on Skype to meet interact with most of the people in my network. However, nothing replaces conferences to meet new like-minded people and exchange ideas.

I want to go to at least 4 conferences this year, but so far because of a lack of time I only managed to plan to go to MicroConf this summer. So far, I am not on track to achieve this goal.

Goal #5: Read 24 New Business Books

On track. Investing in yourself is so important for an entrepreneur. Without reading books for example, I clearly wouldn’t be where I am at the moment. That’s why I want to read at least 24 business-related books this year. So far, I’ve already ready 7 business books, so I am just on track for this goal.

Goal #6: Reach a Bodyweight of 82kg While Keeping my Body Fat Below 20%

On track. My last goal is regarding my health, and I want to reach 82kg (yes, actually take some weight!) while keeping my body fat under 20%. Haven’t precisely measured the body fat lately, but I can’t see any new excess fat and I am already 78kg, so I am on track here as well!

This is the end of this quarterly review, and I hope that you enjoyed reading it. Make sure not the miss the new quarterly review in 3 months!
